JARED COLLARD
Baritone

Blessed with a range of nearly three octaves, my professional career was launched in 1970 when I stepped from the chorus to replace the ailing bass soloist in a concert at Carnegie Hall. Since then, I have been featured nationally and internationally in Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, Carmen, The Barber of Seville, Cosi fan tutte, La traviata, Aida, The Telephone, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Help, Help, the Globbolinks, Macbeth, Bamboo, and The Two Widows.

My concert repertoire includes Bach's St. Matthew and St. John Passion, Handel's Messiah, Verdi's Requiem, Rossini's Petite Messa Solennelle, Berlioz' L'Enfance du Christ, Faure's Requiem, Beethoven's Choral Fantasia, Mozart's Regina Coeli, Dubois' Seven Last Words of Christ, Mendelssohn's Elijah, and Dvorak's Stabat Mater, among others.

I have also performed leading roles in The Merry Widow, The Red Mill, The Red Shoes, The New Moon, La vie Parisienne and Kismet.
